Trimble

Trimble, a world leader in GPS, construction lasers, robotic, total stations and machine control solutions, is creating a broad range of innovative solutions that will change the way construction work is done. The Geomatics and Engineering Division is focusing on the developing of technology and solutions in the core areas of surveying, construction and infrastructure. From concept to completion, Trimble's integrated systems streamline jobs and improve productivity.
Trimble grade control and site control systems-including 3D machine control and site control systems-bring significant benefits to a contractor; including the reduction of grade stakes; cost savings across all stages of the earthworks process; digital data transfer design data from design/CAD software to machine for guidance to blade control; less errors; and less material waste. The Nebraska based dealer will promote these products throughout the state as well as providing support and service.
The products represented by NMC include:
- Trimble GCS900 - on some worksites uses the horizontal guidance to mark the bonds of pads for other machines, enabling them to do rough work without survey stakes. On other sites, the GCS900 allows large dozers to work much closer to grade finishing pads that previously would have required additional smaller machines for the final work.
